Jory is the second generation of the Elliott family to take the controls of a high-horsepowered drag race machine, following in the footsteps of his Hall of Fame inducted father.

Jory had already built a strong reputation in the industry as a freelance writer and partnership manager before ever getting behind the wheel of a race car. He's been published in industry leading publications such as National Dragster, led efforts at Delaware Speedway that resulted in an 85% growth in annual partnership sales to $200,000, and created the most successful event in the 65 year history of the facility, grossing more than $250,000 in a single day.

In the 10 years he has been in competition, Elliott has become a consistent and strong presence on the track, having won four times and  earning a berth in the 2012 IHRA World Championships.
